One essential part of our Rocket Kid training program is thisĀ  simulation for a rescue of another astronaut. It is essential this is reviewed multiple times in preparation for space exploration. This simulation goes through blast off, how to fire booster rockets, and running the instrument control panel. Later on in the simulation, it also provides crucial information on what to do in case your oxygen supply runs low. Finally, this simulation also provides a valuable history lesson about people important to understanding the Earth and its galaxy, such as Galileo and Columbus. In order to become a Rocket Kid, one must pass this mandatory simulation exercise.
