Stardate 1969.

Denis: Hey brother Jack your 25, do you think that children could possibly explore space anytime soon? I would really like to go.

Jack: I don't think America is ready to send up any one your age at this moment.

Denis: Why is that?

Jack: Well, I think David Bowie in his new single "Space Oddity" really sums up all the reasons against children going to space. For one, its still a military man's profession and not something for children. Space travel also seems very dangerous. I mean that ship is like a tin can according to Bowie. Its not all the strong and doesn't offer much protection. Also, once your in space, you are up there all alone and no one can help you especially if something bad happens. Look at what happened to Major Tom, his circuits died and ground control never heard from him again. I guess he got lost up there in space and can never come back. Its too risky for anyone your age to go up in space. I guess thats why military men are still the one going up into space.
