That's the Signpost Up Ahead- Your Next Stop, the Adult Zone

This portion of the exhibit is dedicated to understanding the adult views of the Rocket Kid during the late 1950's throughout the end of the 1960's.

The items in this exhibit are from television shows and songs made by adults that deal with the Rocket Kid either directly or indirectly. Each object's portion contains a text scripted in the form of a conversation between an eight to fourteen year old with an adult figure. These conversations reveal how adults may have used one of these mass media forms to argue against the idea of the Rocket Kid. The object also contains an image related to the item.
